Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.1% in June 10–Monday
MOSCOW, Jun 20 (PRIME) -- Russian consumer prices amounted to 0.1% from June 10 through Monday, and inflation reached 1.8% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a report on Wednesday.
In the reported week, prices for chicken meat went up 1.5%, for millet grew 1%, for sugar 0.6%, and for margarine 0.2%. Prices for eggs fell 1%.
Prices for fruit and vegetables rose 0.4% on average. Cucumber prices went up 8.2% and tomatoes became 6.9% more expensive. Carrot prices rose 5.9% and prices for potatoes, cabbage, onions, and apples rose 1.2–2%.
Gasoline prices fell 0.1% and diesel fuel prices remained flat.
